About The Doctor
Our practice is led by Dr. Rachel Dorfner, DMD. Her passion for dentistry stems from multiple childhood experiences at the dental office, and she now dedicates her career to providing the most comprehensive dental and orthodontic care available. Dr Rachel’s commitment to making patients feel comfortable throughout their appointment is noticeably at the forefront of each service provided.
When Dr. Rachel is not serving her patients, she enjoys hiking and going to the beach. Dr. Rachel moved back to South Jersey from California to start her dental practice and is excited to be within driving distance of most of her family members.

About Our Staff
MEET AUTUMN, Office Manager
Autumn is our highly dedicated Office Manager. Her strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, combined with a proactive approach, enable her to efficiently manage records, handle finances, and resolve complex issues. She loves to build strong relationships with both staff and patients. Her meticulous attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and commitment to adhering to best practices make her an invaluable asset in maintaining our office, while also serving as a dedicated patient advocate. In her spare time she loves cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
MEET JENESIS, DA
Jenesis Smith is one of Dr. Dorfner’s assistants, pursuing her dream in dentistry. Her interest in the dental field started when she was introduced to braces as a sophomore at Burlington Township High School. The brackets and wires were all very new and uncomfortable to her, but how could these dental appliances make her more comfortable with her smile? As the process of perfecting her smile proceeded, she created a plan for the future. Immediately after high school, Jen attended Advantage Careers Institute (ACI) Medical and Dental School to jump start her career. During this five month course she was taught how to assist chair-side and she graduated with honors. Jen's strong compassion and empathy for helping others is her driving factor to be extremely capable in this field.
In her free time, Jen crochets various scarves, hats, and bags, spends time on the piano, and plays with her cat, Coco Chanel. She is currently a NJ Certified X-Ray Technician, happily pursuing her dream of becoming a Dental Hygienist.
MEET JORDYN, RDA
Jordyn's passion for dentistry started at a young age, thanks to her aunt, who worked as a dental hygienist. She loved visiting her aunts office for "Bring Your Child to Work Day" and quickly knew that she wanted a career in the dental field.
Jordyn began her journey at BCIT Westampton, studying Dental Occupations, later completing the 10-month Dental Assisting Adult Education Program at BCIT. She is now proud to be a licensed Registered Dental Assistant.
When Jordyn is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and her miniature Australian Shepherd, Nyx. She is an avid reader, loves discovering a new binge-worthy show, and is also studying American Sign Language to connect with even more people in the community.
MEET MERRI, RDH
Merri Miragliuolo BSDH, RDH has been working in dentistry for over 35 years. Merri is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University with dual bachelor's degrees in both dental hygiene and science. During her time at Thomas Jefferson University, she specialized in clinical and hospital dental hygiene, developing several programs to aid those in need. She was the recipient of the Hollister Award for outstanding ability and achievement in dental health education. Merri loves being a Dental Hygienist and educating her patients on dental health.
Merri resides locally with her retired, army veteran husband, her teen daughter, and their three Yorkies. She is very active in the community and has held several board positions in organizations throughout Burlington Township. When she's not at Dorfner Dental Studio or volunteering, you can find Merri on the sidelines being the "proud mom" cheering for her daughter at field hockey or street hockey!
MEET HEENA, RDH
Heena joined Dorfner Dental Studio in early 2025. She has over 25 years of clinical practice as a dental hygienist. She enjoys connecting with patients and uses her advanced skills to change the patient experience in Dentistry. As a prevention specialist, she utilizes her knowledge to educate patients on how their oral health impacts their overall health and wellness. Heena is also an adjunct professor at Rowan College at Burlington County Dental Hygiene Program. She is a passionate Autism advocate for her son and others in the special needs community. She loves watching and supporting her daughter who is in her High School marching band drumline.
MEET ANGELINA, RDH
Ever since Angelina was a young girl, she enjoyed going to the dentist, but she knew that wasn't the case for most people. In high school when trying to choose her career, she had a lightbulb moment. Angelina decided to give hygiene a chance and she instantly loved it. Angelina even graduated as the valedictorian in her hygiene school program. Angelinas goal in this profession is to make patients feel as comfortable as she did when she would have her check ups and cleanings completed. She hopes her personality and approach to dentistry helps accomplish that.
Outside of dentistry, Angelina enjoys spending time with friends and family. Angelina enjoys being outside whether its for walks or adventures, learning how to make her own clothes and styling, cooking and learning the guitar.
